How We Work

Hours of Operation

We understand the beauty of working remotely, but we’re not naive to its very specific challenges. Polished Tasks is available Monday thru Friday from 1:00-5:00 PM CST. Please understand this does not reflect when I’ll be working, just my office hours.

I’m a night owl! If these hours do not work for you and your schedule, just ask. I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

 

 

 

Payment & Invoicing

All payments for services are paid upfront using PayPal. All monthly recurring charges will be due on the 1st of the month. A late fee is added to the invoice after 7 days of payment not being received.

 

 

 

Refunds

When we enter into a paid service, we start work immediately with the prep work and everything needed to deliver them on time. For that reason, there are no refunds.

 

 

 

Confidentiality

Privacy and confidentiality are of the utmost concern at Polished Tasks. Therefore, we do not divulge any information to a third party.

 

 

 

Sharing Passwords

You are welcome to provide your passwords on the Password Form that will be sent to you after the contract is signed. Or you are more than welcome to share them using LastPass. The email to use is polishedtasks@gmail.com.

 

 

 

Meetings

Your time is valuable, and so is ours. If you need to change or cancel a scheduled meeting, please let us know within 24 hours. In turn, we will do the same with a 24-hour notice, and we’ll be on time as well.

The Perks

At Polished Tasks, we want to hear from our clients and keep fresh ideas rolling.

All calls and emails will be returned within 48 hours during business days (Monday to Thursday).

 

That means we will:

Respond to e-mail and phone messages promptly

Follow-up with clients to ask for feedback

Make recommendations and offer solutions

Go the extra mile to make our clients happy

 

When you choose to work with us, we will support your needs on a daily basis. We at Polished Tasks are focused on your growth and success.

 

Rush Jobs

Things do come up that need to be addressed immediately. I will do my best to accommodate. There will be an extra charge of (amount TBD) that will be added to the following invoice due. I will not be able to provide rush jobs on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. I will not be able to

provide rush jobs while on vacation, but you will be notified before I take vacation time

 

Client Management Tools

I will be providing a dedicated way for us to communicate aside from email if needed. At this time, we’re using Slack. We will also provide a base for you in AirTable and a shared Google Drive folder. If you aren’t familiar with AirTable or don’t have an account, it’s a free account to join, and all you’ll need to do is accept the invitation sent to you.

 

Getting Started

 

After the contract is signed and the invoice is paid, I’ll be sending the Password Form, Brand Form, and the various invitations needed to get you onboard. We try our best to make this as painless as possible, and it will be so much easier if you get the information and forms I need back to us as soon as you can.

 

I hope you understand there may be a flurry of emails in the beginning, but once we have things set, it will slow down.
